All Australian Visas is excited to announce a new service launched today due to popular demand. We are now providing services to people who have lodged General Skilled Migration visas and who want to reduce their processing times to get a quicker result from Department of Immigration.

We are offering this service to anyone who has applied for the following visas:

485
487
885
886
887

This initiative was introduced by the General Skilled Processing Centre in Brisbane in order to speed up the processing of visa applications. It is only available to registered migration agents as we have to sign a declaration that we have lodged a complete application.

The declarations are to advise the processing centre they may immediately decide the application as each and every required document has been lodged.

If you would like us to assist in speeding up the processing time and get a faster decision on your visa application please contact us

Hello mam,
Do you have the possibility to tell me under which category I and my family should apply for a migration visa when we already are danish citizens?
I am 44 and have at least 11 years of experience in a field of IT and my wife is almost graduated as a construction engineer with 5 years experience at work in the same branch.
We have two kids at ages of 8 and 10. Their English skills are very good considering their age and background.

I'd appreciate if you can drop me a couple of lines. Thank you so much in advance.

Kind regards
Hamid Aminerzai

Hi Danielle,
Came across your website while browsing through the internet.
My application has been lodged with the Adelaide Immigration Office on Feb 17 2010 under the 475 category.
Is there any way of speeding up my application.
Appreciate your response.

regards......Indira

Dear Calli
Thank you for your email. On an earlier blog post I wrote about Australian Visa processing times if you check there you will find this information. In regards to Decision Ready Checklist, it has now been updated so that only people who have been approved for state sponsorship can use the Decision Ready Checklist.
thanks and regards

I have begun my case on 08/04/2008 and on 29/06/2009 have been notified that my "Application being processed further" which I understood everyone had this message on their file and all the process stop till 01/07/2010. On 18/08/2010 they requested some information from me which I had been given to them before. And some of documents in "Checklist Document" have changed from "Required" to "Received" and only one status is changed to "Met". I have also been notified that, who is my case officer. But from 14/09/2010 till now my status still lingered. I was wondering, dose anybody know how long I have to wait till the process of my case will be finished?

Dear Leo
I am about to write a new blog post about current processing times as I have been asked several times this week.
I would suggest you send an email to your case officer and ask for an update. It sounds like if Met has not been entered then they do not have the required documentation or the documentation submitted is not sufficient. I cannot comment specifically unless you hire me to check on your case for you. If you wish for us to do this please send an email to us or post a request.
thanks and regards
Danielle
